The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand

This book opened my world of architectural appreciation.  A classic story, embracing the importance of individual creative spirit, was stirring to my soul. I will never go to a city without an awareness of its architectural beauty and uniqueness, and the minds that created it. The characters are memorable and strong. They propose the strengths and sometimes contrasting positions between unwavering individualism, and qualities such as charity and cooperation. A thinking person’s read and a worthwhile one.
