Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll

This was not only one of my favorite childhood books but remains a favorite because of the ingenious quotes and dialogues among the imaginative characters. Two favorite quotes that leap to mind are the Queen of Hearts, saying,” Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast,” and Alice saying, “I can’t go back to yesterday because I was a different person then.” I delight in Carroll’s fun with puns and his  sense of wonder to create such delightful characters and memories. Definitely, a reread as an adult.
